Cancellations or Last Minute Changes
- As a GENERAL RULE, if Rapid City Area Schools close or have a late start, we will cancel rehearsal.
Rehearsals
For the Fall and Spring semesters, rehearsals for Concert Band are held every Tuesday and Thursday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. The Jazz Orchestra follows from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. During the summer, the Concert Band and Jazz Orchestra meet only on Tuesdays at the same times as above. The groups rehearse at the Canyon Lake Activity Center located at 2900 Canyon Lake Drive in Rapid City. See the Contacts page for a map.
Performance/Rehearsal Details (show time, apparel, equipment, directions, etc.)
Dress for all performances unless otherwise stated is the following:
White long sleeve shirt, black trousers/skirt, black shoes/socks, and red NH vest
Always bring music and music stand (clips if outside) unless otherwise noted.
