Born in Edgerton, WY, moved to Belle Fourche, SD in 1941. Graduated from Belle Fourche High School 1948 and South Dakota State College in 1952. Joined the South Dakota Air National Guard in 1953 and was on active duty for training with USAF 1954. Flew sub-century fighters for SD and AK ANG. Moved to Alaska in 1955 and flew DC-3, F-27, B-737, and B-727 aircraft for the airlines. Also flew for Casino Express out of Elko, NV and concluded 42 year aviation career with 7 years in flight operations at Reeve Aleutian Airways in Anchorage, AK. Have 3 children and 5 grandchildren. Married Donna (Jones) Doody in 1990. Retired. Spend spring/fall in SD, summers in AK, and travel South in the winter.
